42 Out Of 45

That's the number of Democrats who have signed on to the impeachment resolution that still hangs over Marc Dann's head at this hour.

42 out of 45

But who are the three who aren't on the resolution? I search many media outlets, who dutifully reported the 42 number but no listing of the three names.

(And by the way, it's 45 and not 46 because the 58th district, former held by Matthew Barrett, is an open seat at the moment.)

So, I downloaded the resolution and began typing in names, assigned district numbers and sorted and compared against the invaluable (if I do say so myself) Reclaim Ohio website and found the three names:

• Eugene Miller - 10th district in Cuyahoga County
• Dale Mallory - 32nd district in Hamilton County
• Kathleen Chandler - 68th district in Portage County

Now I'm reluctant to draw conclusions about this list. Perhaps they were away from the state house and couldn't register their positions -- who knows.
